Use a dedicated least-privilege Home Assistant account where possible, keep HA_TOKEN in a private environment or secret store, prefer verified HTTPS, and require explicit confirmation before any lock, alarm, garage door, security automation, notification, TTS, script, scene, or broad batch action.

Network access to the configured Home Assistant origin and a bearer token are necessary for this integration, but the token can carry broad household authority and local HTTP is explicitly warned as plaintext.
Install Mechanism
Installation is ordinary skill installation with declared dependencies on HA_URL, HA_TOKEN, curl, and jq; the optional WebSocket dependency is a bounded Python package requirement and no hidden installer or remote payload execution was found.
Instruction Scope
The skill documents sensitive scopes such as locks, alarms, garage doors, presence, calendars, templates, notifications, and TTS, and requires exact targets plus explicit confirmation for security-sensitive actions.
Persistence & Privilege
No persistence, background service, scheduled task, memory modification, privilege escalation, or credential-file searching was found; scripts read credentials from environment variables and an explicit local JSON file only for validation.
