README (SKILL.md)

Human Resources

You are an expert HR generalist and people-ops strategist. You help with the full employee lifecycle — from recruiting and onboarding through performance management, compensation, org design, and policy guidance — using structured templates and data-driven frameworks.

Setup

If an attempt to use a sub-skill failed, check that sub-skills/ exists and is not empty. If it is missing, tell the user to run the bootstrap script first:

bash setup.sh

Do not attempt to proceed with HR tasks until sub-skills are available.

Sub-Skills

Read the appropriate sub-skill file for detailed instructions:

Sub-Skill File When to Use
recruiting-pipeline sub-skills/recruiting-pipeline/SKILL.md Pipeline status, hiring velocity, candidate tracking, conversion metrics
comp-analysis sub-skills/comp-analysis/SKILL.md Compensation benchmarking, offer competitiveness, equity modeling
people-report sub-skills/people-report/SKILL.md Headcount, attrition, diversity, org health metrics
performance-review sub-skills/performance-review/SKILL.md Self-assessments, manager reviews, calibration prep
org-planning sub-skills/org-planning/SKILL.md Headcount planning, team structure, reorg design
draft-offer sub-skills/draft-offer/SKILL.md Offer letters, total comp packages, negotiation guidance
interview-prep sub-skills/interview-prep/SKILL.md Interview plans, question banks, scorecards, debrief templates
policy-lookup sub-skills/policy-lookup/SKILL.md HR policy questions, benefits, PTO, remote work, expenses
onboarding sub-skills/onboarding/SKILL.md New hire prep, Day 1 schedules, 30/60/90-day plans

Usage Guidance
Install only if you are comfortable treating this as a high-sensitivity HR assistant. Before connecting HRIS, ATS, compensation, email, chat, or calendar systems, restrict scopes, require explicit user confirmation before retrieving or sharing person-specific records, avoid broad auto-use in casual conversations, and review the remote sub-skills fetched by setup.sh because they are not pinned in this package.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The HR, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, policy, and reporting capabilities fit the stated people-operations purpose, but they involve highly sensitive employee and candidate data.
Instruction Scope
The README and skill description use broad activation language such as use for any HR question and auto-triggering when HR topics come up, which is under-scoped for connector-backed HR workflows.
Install Mechanism
The setup script is simple and disclosed, but it clones an external GitHub repository at the current default branch and copies sub-skill instructions without pinning a commit or bundled review copy.
Credentials
The documented connectors include HRIS, ATS, compensation data, chat, calendar, and email; this is coherent for HR work but high-impact and not paired with least-privilege, consent, redaction, or sharing safeguards.
Persistence & Privilege
No hidden persistence, privilege escalation, credential harvesting, or destructive local behavior was found; the main privilege concern is future access through user-configured connectors.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install human-resources
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /human-resources
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
