Before installing or running commands: (1) be prepared to authenticate via a browser (Membrane account required); (2) review and trust the @membranehq/cli npm package before installing globally (global npm installs run third‑party code); and (3) avoid running the install or login from highly sensitive or locked-down environments unless you trust Membrane/getmembrane.com. If you need tighter controls, prefer running Membrane CLI in an isolated environment or ask the integrator to provide audited automation instead.
