Product Page Audit

Score and diagnose your product detail pages across five critical dimensions — image quality, copywriting effectiveness, on-page SEO, mobile responsiveness, and trust signal presence — then receive a prioritized improvement roadmap that tells you exactly what to fix first for the highest conversion impact.

What this skill does

This skill performs a comprehensive evaluation of your product detail page by examining each element through a conversion optimization lens. It assesses your product images for resolution, lifestyle context, infographic clarity, and mobile thumbnail legibility. It evaluates your product title, bullet points, and description for keyword inclusion, benefit-driven language, readability, and emotional hooks. It checks on-page SEO factors including title tag structure, meta description, image alt text, and URL formatting. It reviews mobile layout considerations such as above-the-fold content priority, button tap target sizes, and scroll depth for key information. Finally, it audits trust elements including review display, badges, guarantees, shipping transparency, and social proof placement. Each dimension receives a score out of 100 with specific deduction reasons.

Inputs required

  • Product page URL or content (required): Either the live URL of the product page to audit or the complete page content including title, bullet points, description, and image descriptions. Example: "https://amazon.com/dp/B0EXAMPLE or paste the full listing text and describe images"
  • Product category (required): The product type and marketplace category for applying relevant benchmarks. Example: "Kitchen gadgets on Amazon" or "Women's activewear on Shopify"
  • Target audience (required): Who the product is for, so copy and imagery can be evaluated against audience expectations. Example: "Health-conscious millennials, ages 25-35, willing to pay premium for quality"
  • Competitor page URLs or descriptions (optional): Links or descriptions of top competitor product pages for comparative benchmarking, which helps identify where you fall behind or lead
  • Current conversion rate (optional): Your existing page conversion rate, which helps calibrate the priority of recommendations based on expected lift potential

Output format

The output is a detailed Product Page Audit Report organized into six sections. First, an Overall Score Dashboard showing the composite score out of 100 and individual dimension scores for Images, Copy, SEO, Mobile, and Trust, each with a letter grade and color-coded status indicator. Second, an Image Audit section listing each image with specific findings on resolution, composition, context, and mobile readability, scored individually with pass/fail/improve ratings. Third, a Copy Audit breaking down the title, bullets, description, and any A+ content with keyword density analysis, readability scores, and specific rewrite suggestions for underperforming sections. Fourth, an SEO Audit covering meta elements, keyword placement, backend search terms, and indexation factors with exact fix instructions. Fifth, a Mobile Experience Audit noting above-the-fold content, load considerations, and interaction element sizing. Sixth, a Priority Action Plan ranking all identified improvements by estimated conversion impact (high/medium/low) and implementation effort (quick win/moderate/major), so you know exactly where to start.
