Voice output through a local jarvis command, SkillBoss TTS, ffmpeg, and local audio playback matches the stated JARVIS voice purpose. The main risk is not deception, but that generated reply text is sent to an external TTS service and executed through a shell wrapper.
Instruction Scope
The instructions make background voice execution a normal response behavior and use broad triggers such as session greetings, results, conversation, and voice/audio interactions. The artifact does not provide strong per-turn consent, sensitive-content gating, or a clear mute/disable mechanism.
Install Mechanism
The setup asks users to place VOICE.md, SESSION.md, and HUMOR.md into the OpenClaw workspace so they are auto-loaded in future sessions. That is disclosed, but it persistently changes agent behavior beyond a single skill invocation.
Credentials
Requiring curl, ffmpeg, aplay, network access, and SKILLBOSS_API_KEY is proportionate for cloud TTS with local playback. However, invoking jarvis with model-generated free-form text via shell is a broader execution surface than a scoped TTS API call.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill intentionally creates persistent prompt behavior across sessions and can cause automatic audio playback from the first reply. No artifact-backed evidence shows destructive actions, credential theft, or hidden malware, and VirusTotal telemetry is clean.
