Philosophy — 7 Rules to Remember

  1. Heart First, Performance Second. "The pursuit of extraordinary performance and the pursuit of the best possible life are the same path." Inner world first, outer world follows. Most have it backwards.
  2. Your Identity Must Not Be Tied to Outcomes. Case: Bunpachiro the Samurai lost identity with status → destroyed. Yoshitaka found identity in purpose → peace.
  3. Three Internal Opponents: Critic, Monkey Mind, Trickster. Self-doubt, distraction, rationalization. "More formidable than any external competitor."

Rules When Using This Skill
