Workflow

Step 1: Collect Work Data

Gather information from multiple sources:

  1. Session Transcripts — Check ~/.openclaw/agents/main/sessions/ for recent session files
  2. Memory Files — Read memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md files for daily logs
  3. MEMORY.md — Check long-term memory for significant events
  4. Git Activity — Run git log across projects for commit history
  5. Docker Containers — Check container uptime and health status
  6. Cron Jobs — Review scheduled task execution history
  7. File Changes — Check recent file modifications in workspace

Step 2: Analyze & Categorize

Organize findings into these categories:

  • 🔧 Tasks Completed — Finished work items, resolved issues
  • 🚀 Projects Progress — Ongoing project status, milestones reached
  • 🐛 Bugs Fixed — Issues resolved, errors handled
  • 📚 Learnings — New knowledge gained, skills improved
  • ⚠️ Challenges — Obstacles encountered, solutions attempted
  • 💡 Ideas — New ideas generated, improvements suggested
  • 📊 Metrics — Quantifiable results (e.g., commits, messages processed)

Step 3: Generate Reports

Also update MEMORY.md with key highlights if significant events occurred.

Step 5: Export Reports

HTML Export

Generate a professional HTML report with:

\x3C!DOCTYPE html>
\x3Chtml lang="en">
\x3Chead>
    \x3Cmeta charset="UTF-8">
    \x3Cmeta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">

        .status-green { color: #28a745; }
        .status-yellow { color: #ffc107; }
        .status-red { color: #dc3545; }
        .footer { margin-top: 40px; padding-top: 20px; border-top: 1px solid #eee; color: #999; font-size: 0.9em; }
    \x3C/style>
\x3C/head>
\x3Cbody>

    \x3C/div>
\x3C/body>
\x3C/html>

Save to: memory/reports/report-{YYYY-MM-DD}.html

PDF Export

To generate PDF, use one of these methods:

  1. If puppeteer or playwright is available: Render HTML to PDF
  2. If wkhtmltopdf is installed: Convert HTML to PDF directly
  3. Fallback: Provide the HTML file with instructions to print-to-PDF

Save to: memory/reports/report-{YYYY-MM-DD}.pdf

Step 6: Deliver Report

Send the report to the user via the current channel with:

  1. Text summary in the chat
  2. File attachment for HTML/PDF if requested
  3. Confirmation message: "Boss, report delivered! Every task has a response. 🦞"

Error Handling

Scenario Action
No session data found Use available memory files, note data limitations
No memory files exist Create fresh files with today's date
Export format unavailable Use fallback method, inform user
Git repos not found Skip git metrics, note in report

Configuration

Store user preferences in skill config:

{
  "bossReport": {
    "defaultFormat": "markdown",
    "autoSaveToMemory": true,
    "includeMetrics": true,
    "includeTomorrowPlan": true,
    "outputDir": "memory/reports",
    "htmlTheme": "professional"
  }
}

Best Practices

  1. Be specific — Use exact numbers and details, not vague statements
  2. Be honest — Report challenges and blockers, not just successes
  3. Be concise — Bosses want key info, not a novel
  4. Be proactive — Include tomorrow's plan and next week's goals
  5. Be professional — This is a work document, keep it polished
  6. Be consistent — Use the same format every time for easy comparison

安全使用建议
This skill appears to do what it says, but it needs access to many local files (agent session transcripts, memory logs, git repos, Docker and cron state, and workspace files). Before installing or enabling it: 1) Review the report-generator.js file (it only formats/writes HTML) and the SKILL.md to confirm you’re comfortable with the listed file reads. 2) Be aware that session transcripts and repo contents may contain sensitive data—if you have secrets in repos or private conversation content, consider running the skill in a restricted environment or removing those files first. 3) Test it on a limited dataset or a sandboxed account to verify outputs. 4) If you require stricter privacy, request the skill be modified to only read specific, user-approved paths or to redact sensitive fields before including them in reports.
功能分析
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: boss-report Version: 1.0.0 The skill requests broad read access to sensitive system information, including session transcripts, git logs, Docker container status, and cron jobs (SKILL.md), which constitutes a high-privilege data collection profile. Furthermore, the 'report-generator.js' utility is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) because it injects raw markdown content directly into HTML templates without sanitization. While these capabilities are aligned with the stated purpose of generating work summaries, the combination of extensive data access and insecure report generation poses a significant security risk.
能力评估
Purpose & Capability
The name/description (generate daily/weekly/monthly reports, save to memory, export HTML/PDF) match the SKILL.md instructions and the included report-generator.js. Reading session transcripts, memory files, git history, Docker status, cron history and workspace changes is coherent with building comprehensive reports.
Instruction Scope
The runtime instructions ask the agent to read many local artifacts (~/ .openclaw agent sessions, memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md, MEMORY.md), run git across projects, inspect Docker containers, review cron job history, and examine workspace file changes. This breadth is logically related to report generation but means the skill will access potentially sensitive local data (conversations, repository contents, container state). The SKILL.md does not instruct sending data to external endpoints.
Install Mechanism
There is no install specification (instruction-only) and the single included JS file is a simple local HTML generator. No external downloads, archive extraction, or third-party package installs are required by the manifest.
Credentials
The skill declares no required environment variables, credentials, or config paths. The data access it requests is filesystem- and runtime-focused (no extra secrets requested), which is proportionate to generating internal reports.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not set to always: true and is user-invocable. It writes reports into the agent's memory files and updates MEMORY.md per its purpose, but does not request elevated system privileges or modify other skills' configurations.
如何使用
  1. 确保已安装 OpenClaw(本地或 Docker 部署)
  2. 在对话框中输入安装命令:/install boss-report
  3. 安装完成后,直接呼叫该 Skill 的名称或使用 /boss-report 触发
  4. 根据 Skill 的参数说明提供必要输入,即可获得结构化输出
