Install only if you are comfortable giving this CLI access to operate your Bluesky account. Use a Bluesky app password, keep it out of chat and shell history, review posts with --dry-run, confirm targets before follows, blocks, reposts, deletes, or mutes, and consider pinning or reviewing dependencies if you need stronger supply-chain control.

Filesystem access is limited to the Bluesky config file, the local virtual environment, and user-specified image uploads; network access through atproto is necessary for Bluesky operations.
Install Mechanism
The wrapper auto-creates a local scripts/venv and installs atproto from requirements.txt on first run using a version range without hashes; this is disclosed, but users should understand it downloads dependency code during setup.
Instruction Scope
The instructions explicitly tell agents to avoid collecting app passwords in chat, use dry-run for public posts unless final text is already provided, and verify high-impact targets before using --yes; the package does not declare a separate minimal tool-scope policy.
