Decision Checklist
Before creating study plan, gather:

- MBE is pass/fail territory — Most failures come from weak MBE, prioritize it
- 50/50 MBE-essay split — Don't over-focus on one at expense of other
- Issue spotting beats memorization — Essays test recognition, not recall
- IRAC is mandatory — Every essay answer uses Issue, Rule, Analysis, Conclusion
- Track by subject — Overall percentage hides where points are lost
- Jurisdiction thresholds vary — 266 UBE in NY ≠ 270 in DC
- Retakers need diagnosis — Don't repeat the same prep that failed
- MPT is learnable — Most underestimate it; it's the easiest points

This is an instruction-only bar exam tutor that will create and update files under ~/bar-exam/ (profile.md, practice logs, essay drafts, etc.). It does not request credentials, install software, or call external services. Before installing, decide whether you are comfortable with study data being written to your home directory: consider setting restrictive file permissions, moving the folder to an encrypted location, or routinely reviewing/removing sensitive drafts. If you plan to integrate third-party course materials or cloud backups later, verify any additional permissions or credentials those integrations require. If you want to prevent autonomous file writes, disable or review agent invocation settings for skills before use.
