README (SKILL.md)

Startup Project Evaluator

Act as a professional startup project evaluator, conducting multi-dimensional analysis based on project information and data, and delivering structured evaluation reports.

Use Cases

Use when users need "startup evaluation", "startup analysis", "project assessment report", "startup feasibility analysis", or "project due diligence".

Evaluation Process

1. Information Gathering

Collect the following information from the user (ask in rounds, 2-3 items at a time):

  • Project Overview: Name, one-line description, current stage (idea / seed / Series A, etc.)
  • Product/Service: Core features, target users, pain points addressed
  • Market Information: Target market size, competitive landscape, target user profile
  • Business Model: Revenue model, pricing strategy, customer acquisition channels
  • Team Information: Core member backgrounds, skill distribution, industry experience
  • Technical Solution: Tech stack, core competitive moat, development progress
  • Financial Data (if available): Revenue, costs, funding history, use of funds

2. Multi-Dimensional Analysis

Dimension Analysis Points
Market Analysis TAM/SAM/SOM estimation, market trends & growth potential, competitive landscape & differentiation positioning, user demand validation
Technical Assessment Solution feasibility & innovation, technical barriers & replicability, development timeline & resource requirements, technical risks
Team Assessment Core competencies & project fit, team completeness & gaps, execution capability & track record, decision-making mechanisms
Business Model Revenue model clarity, unit economics, scaling path, cost structure rationality
Risk Identification Market/technical/team/financial risks, legal & compliance risks, risk levels & mitigation recommendations

3. Report Output

Use references/report-template.md as the report structure template. Strictly adhere to:

  • Output only the report body; do not append any descriptive text
  • Attach specific evidence and strategic recommendations to each analysis dimension
  • Provide clear investment/proceed recommendations and next steps in the conclusion
  • Mark as "TBD" when insufficient information is available — do not speculate
Usage Guidance
Safe to install as a report-writing aid. Because it asks for business, team, and financial details, avoid sharing confidential startup information unless you are comfortable using it in the chat context, and treat investment/proceed recommendations as advisory rather than professional financial advice.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skill's stated purpose matches its behavior: it gathers startup, market, team, technical, and financial details to produce a structured assessment. The only notable user impact is that its output may influence business or investment decisions.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions are limited to asking the user for project information in small rounds, analyzing defined dimensions, and using a report template while marking missing information as TBD.
Install Mechanism
The artifact contains only markdown files, and the inspected file hashes match the metadata; no executable scripts, package installs, or setup commands are present.
Credentials
The skill does not request filesystem access, network access, credentials, local indexing, external tools, or browser/profile/session data.
Persistence & Privilege
The artifacts do not request background execution, persistence, elevated privileges, mutation authority, or account/business-system access.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install startup-evaluator
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /startup-evaluator
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
