Description
Design distinctive user-facing interfaces and avoid generic AI-generated visual patterns.
README (SKILL.md)
Frontend Design Skill
Build distinctive UIs — avoid the generic "AI slop" aesthetic.
Rules
- NEVER use Inter, Roboto, Arial, system-ui as primary fonts
- Use distinctive fonts: Space Mono, Syne, Clash Display, Cabinet Grotesk, Satoshi, Fraunces
- Avoid purple gradients on white — pick a real color palette
- Use asymmetric layouts, not 3-card grids
- Add micro-interactions and personality
Good Patterns
- Bold typography with tight tracking
- Unexpected accent colors
- Generous whitespace with intentional density
- Scroll animations on key content
Bad Patterns (avoid)
- Hero → Features → Testimonials → CTA → Footer
- Purple/blue gradient backgrounds
- "AI-generated" card grids
- Generic stock illustration style
Usage Guidance
Install only if you want ClawHub maintainer and Convex development workflows. Review the staff moderation, migration, and autoreview sections before use, especially because invoked commands can affect production data, send staff email, use admin credentials, or run nested review tools with broad local access.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skills cover code review, ClawHub staff moderation, PR triage, Convex setup/auth/performance, and migrations; the high-impact moderation and migration capabilities are aligned with those stated purposes.
Instruction Scope
The instructions repeatedly require explicit targets, reasons, confirmation gates, dry runs, verification, and use of official or repo-local tools rather than hidden direct mutations.
Install Mechanism
No hidden install hook or startup persistence was found in the skill files; the only executable artifact reviewed is an autoreview helper script invoked by the user or agent.
Credentials
The skills may use GitHub CLI, Convex tooling, package installs, external review CLIs, and admin APIs, but these are disclosed and fit maintainer/development workflows.
Persistence & Privilege
Some workflows can use powerful authority, including ClawHub admin actions, production migrations, and nested Codex review with full-access by default, but these are disclosed and include opt-outs or confirmation gates.
