README (SKILL.md)

IPQualityScore

Operate IPQualityScore through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the ipqualityscore connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Security & Identity, Data & Analytics. Exposes 4 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected IPQualityScore. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "ipqualityscore" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "ipqualityscore" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • check_ip_reputation — Check an IP address for proxy, VPN, Tor, bot, and abuse risk signals.
  • scan_url — Scan a URL or domain and return malware, phishing, and domain risk signals.
  • validate_email — Validate an email address and return deliverability and abuse risk signals.
  • validate_phone — Validate a phone number and return carrier, activity, and risk signals.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change IPQualityScore state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — IPQualityScore is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=ipqualityscore

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install this if you are comfortable using OOMOL to call IPQualityScore and sending lookup inputs such as IP addresses, URLs, email addresses, and phone numbers to that service. Review the oo CLI installer command before first-time setup, and use the skill only for user-directed reputation or validation checks.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The artifacts consistently describe four read-oriented IPQualityScore actions: IP reputation checks, URL/domain scans, email validation, and phone validation.
Instruction Scope
The trigger wording is broad for any IPQualityScore request, but the actual instructions are scoped to inspecting schemas and running named IPQualityScore connector actions through the oo CLI.
Install Mechanism
The skill includes conditional first-time setup commands that download and execute OOMOL's CLI installer; this is disclosed and only instructed after oo is missing, but users should review installer commands before running them.
Credentials
Allowed tool access is limited to Bash commands matching oo, and sending lookup inputs to OOMOL/IPQualityScore is proportionate to the stated service integration.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill requires an OOMOL-connected IPQualityScore account and server-side API-key credentials, but it does not ask the agent to read local secrets, create background workers, or add persistence.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-ipqualityscore
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-ipqualityscore
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
