Description
Cloudinary (cloudinary.com). Use this skill for ANY Cloudinary request — reading, creating, and updating data. Whenever a task involves Cloudinary, use this...
README (SKILL.md)

Cloudinary

Operate Cloudinary through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the cloudinary connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Design & Media, Storage. Exposes 5 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Cloudinary. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "cloudinary" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "cloudinary" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • get_asset — Fetch one Cloudinary asset by immutable asset ID and return the normalized asset record.
  • list_assets — List uploaded Cloudinary assets of one resource type with optional prefix filtering and cursor pagination.
  • rename_asset — Rename one uploaded Cloudinary asset by changing its public ID and return the normalized asset record.
  • update_asset — Update selected mutable fields of one uploaded Cloudinary asset by public ID using the explicit API.
  • upload_asset — Upload one asset to Cloudinary from a remote URL or Data URI and return the normalized uploaded asset record.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Cloudinary state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Cloudinary is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=cloudinary

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install this only if you trust OOMOL and intend to let the `oo` CLI operate your connected Cloudinary account. Verify the CLI installer before running it, keep Cloudinary/OOMOL permissions scoped, and require explicit confirmation before uploads, renames, or updates in production assets.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skill is narrowly about Cloudinary asset operations through the OOMOL `oo` connector, and the listed actions match that purpose: get, list, upload, rename, and update assets.
Instruction Scope
The trigger wording is broad for Cloudinary-related requests, but the runtime scope is limited to `Bash(oo *)` and the instructions require schema inspection and user confirmation before write actions.
Install Mechanism
First-time setup includes remote shell and PowerShell installer commands for the `oo` CLI; this is disclosed and only used if `oo` is missing, but users should verify the installer source before running it.
Credentials
The skill requires a connected OOMOL/Cloudinary account and can read or mutate Cloudinary assets, which is proportionate to the stated purpose and marked as requiring sensitive credentials.
Persistence & Privilege
No executable files, background workers, hidden persistence, or deletion workflow are present in the artifact; account login and Cloudinary connection may persist through OOMOL outside the skill.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-cloudinary
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-cloudinary
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Initial release of `oo-cloudinary`, an OOMOL skill for operating Cloudinary through a connected OOMOL account without handling raw Cloudinary credentials. - Adds asset lookup with `get_asset`, returning a normalized Cloudinary asset record by immutable asset ID. - Adds asset browsing with `list_assets`, including resource-type selection, optional prefix filtering, and cursor-based pagination. - Adds upload support with `upload_asset` for creating Cloudinary assets from a remote URL or Data URI. - Adds write operations for existing assets, including `rename_asset` for public ID changes and `update_asset` for mutable asset fields. - Documents the standard `oo connector schema` and `oo connector run` workflow, with safety guidance for read, write, and destructive actions.
