Buy a software license with your agent

Agents often need to purchase or renew licenses (IDE, API plans, team seats) as part of a longer task. CAI executes the on-chain or custodial payment after your agent surfaces how the vendor wants to be paid and you explicitly confirm.

When to Use

  • "Buy this software license for me"
  • "Renew my subscription — agent pays"
  • "Pay the vendor address my agent found"
  • "Use my CAI wallet for this SaaS invoice"

Task flow (agent-native)

  1. Agent reads vendor billing (invoice email, checkout page, or on-chain address).
  2. wallet_balances on target chain/token.
  3. Shortfall → create_deposit_link or bridge tools (honest gap_id if partial_live).
  4. User confirms payee, amount, chain, token.
  5. transfer only after explicit yes.
  6. Optional: mail_inbox_summarize for receipt at @cai.com (scope mail/full).
