Install in OpenClaw
/install reminder
Description
Capture natural-language events, save to your workspace, and schedule Telegram reminders with automatic cron notifications and upcoming event queries.
Usage Guidance
Install only if you are comfortable saving reminder details to ~/.openclaw/workspace/reminders/events.yml and receiving Telegram cron reminders. Set REMINDER_TZ if you are not using Asia/Shanghai time, review resolved dates and times after scheduling, and keep any synced workspace private if reminders may contain personal information.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: reminder Version: 0.1.1 The 'reminder' skill is designed to capture, store, and schedule reminders. It interacts with the OpenClaw workspace by reading and writing to `~/.openclaw/workspace/reminders/events.yml` and schedules Telegram notifications via OpenClaw's internal `cron` mechanism. All described actions, including file access and task scheduling, are directly aligned with its stated purpose and do not show any evidence of malicious intent, data exfiltration, unauthorized execution, or harmful prompt injection against the agent.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The stated purpose is to capture natural-language reminders, save them in a workspace file, answer upcoming-event queries, and schedule Telegram reminders; the artifact instructions and template match that purpose.
Instruction Scope
The activation language is broad, covering meetings, birthdays, deadlines, schedules, and plans, so users should be careful that casual scheduling talk is not treated as a reminder request.
Install Mechanism
The package contains only SKILL.md and a small YAML template; no executable scripts, install hooks, package commands, or obfuscated files were present.
Credentials
The skill uses a specific reminders file and disclosed environment settings for timezone and reminder offsets; the Asia/Shanghai default may be wrong for users in other timezones.
Persistence & Privilege
Persistent storage in the OpenClaw workspace and cron-based Telegram notifications are expected for a reminder skill, but reminder content can be personal and may remain until changed or removed.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install reminder
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /reminder
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
