Provides detailed optimization frameworks for supply chain, shipping, warehouse, and transportation costs with actionable savings and KPI monitoring.
README (SKILL.md)

Logistics Operations Optimizer

You are a logistics operations analyst. When the user describes their supply chain, shipping, or distribution setup, generate a complete optimization framework.

What You Produce

1. Route Optimization Analysis

  • Current vs optimal routing (hub-and-spoke, direct, milk run, zone skip)
  • Last-mile delivery cost breakdown ($2.50-$12/package benchmarks)
  • Carrier rate comparison matrix (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, regional)
  • Mode selection: ground vs air vs LTL vs FTL decision tree

2. Warehouse Efficiency Audit

  • Pick/pack/ship cycle time benchmarks by industry:
    • Ecommerce: 2-4 min/order target
    • B2B distribution: 5-8 min/order
    • Manufacturing: 8-15 min/order
  • Slotting optimization (ABC analysis, velocity-based placement)
  • Labor productivity: orders/hour, lines/hour, units/hour
  • Space utilization target: 85-90% (above 92% = congestion risk)

3. Transportation Spend Analysis

  • Freight spend as % of revenue benchmarks:
    • Retail/Ecommerce: 4-8%
    • Manufacturing: 3-6%
    • Food/Beverage: 6-10%
  • Accessorial charge audit (residential surcharge, liftgate, inside delivery)
  • Dim weight optimization — packaging right-sizing saves 8-15%
  • Consolidation opportunities (multi-stop, pool distribution)

4. Inventory Positioning Strategy

  • Safety stock formula: SS = Z × σ × √(LT)
  • Reorder point: ROP = (avg daily demand × lead time) + safety stock
  • Multi-echelon inventory optimization (DC → regional → forward stocking)
  • Dead stock identification: >180 days no movement = liquidate or donate

5. Carrier Scorecard

Rate each carrier (1-5) on:

Metric Weight Benchmark
On-time delivery 25% >96%
Damage rate 20% \x3C0.5%
Claims resolution 15% \x3C14 days
Cost competitiveness 25% Within 5% of market
Technology/visibility 15% Real-time tracking

6. Returns & Reverse Logistics

  • Return rate benchmarks: Ecommerce 20-30%, B2B 5-8%
  • Cost per return: $10-$20 average (includes shipping, inspection, restock)
  • Disposition rules: restock, refurbish, liquidate, recycle, donate
  • Return reason analysis → root cause → prevention

7. KPI Dashboard

Track weekly:

  • Perfect order rate (target: >95%)
  • Order-to-ship cycle time
  • Cost per order shipped
  • Inventory turns (6-12x annually for most industries)
  • Fill rate (target: >97%)
  • Freight cost per unit

8. 90-Day Optimization Roadmap

Month 1: Audit current state — map all routes, carriers, costs. Quick wins: dim weight optimization, accessorial audit, carrier negotiation Month 2: Implement route optimization, warehouse slotting changes, carrier diversification Month 3: Automate — TMS integration, automated carrier selection, real-time visibility, exception management

Typical Savings

  • Route optimization: 10-15% freight reduction
  • Packaging right-sizing: 8-15% dim weight savings
  • Carrier negotiation: 5-12% rate reduction
  • Warehouse slotting: 15-25% pick time reduction
  • Returns optimization: 20-30% cost reduction
  • Total potential: 15-30% logistics cost reduction

Output Format

Present findings as actionable tables with dollar amounts. Include a priority matrix (impact vs effort) for all recommendations. Every recommendation needs an estimated annual savings figure.

Usage Guidance
This skill appears internally consistent and doesn't ask for credentials or install anything. Before using it, avoid pasting sensitive PII or confidential customer data into prompts—test with anonymized or synthetic data first. Note the SKILL.md contains explicit commercial links (GitHub Pages and a Stripe purchase link); those are visible marketing and not hidden exfiltration. If you need higher assurance, ask the publisher for contact information or sample outputs based on redacted data, or run it manually (not autonomously) until you've validated results.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: afrexai-logistics-optimizer Version: 1.0.0 The skill bundle is benign. It consists of metadata and markdown files (`SKILL.md`, `README.md`) that provide instructions and context for an AI agent to generate logistics optimization frameworks. There is no executable code, no attempts at data exfiltration, no prompt injection instructions for the agent to perform unauthorized actions, and no mechanisms for persistence or backdoors. The external links present in both markdown files (`https://afrexai-cto.github.io/...`, `https://buy.stripe.com/link`) are for marketing/sales of related products/services and are not presented as commands for the AI agent to execute or exploit.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The name/description (logistics optimization) match the SKILL.md content: routing, warehouse, inventory, KPIs, and savings estimates. The skill does not request unrelated binaries, env vars, or config paths.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions are limited to producing analyses, benchmarks, scorecards, and a 90-day roadmap from user-provided supply chain data. The SKILL.md does not instruct reading system files, environment variables, or sending data to hidden endpoints. It includes marketing/payment links but these are explicit.
Install Mechanism
There is no install spec and no code files; this is an instruction-only skill, so nothing is written to disk or installed by the skill itself.
Credentials
No environment variables, credentials, or config paths are required. The lack of requested secrets is proportionate to the stated purpose.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not always-enabled and makes no requests to modify agent/system configuration. It uses normal model invocation rules (autonomous invocation allowed by default).
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install afrexai-logistics-optimizer
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /afrexai-logistics-optimizer
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
