README (SKILL.md)

Klaviyo

Operate Klaviyo through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the klaviyo connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Klaviyo. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "klaviyo" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "klaviyo" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action is listed below with a one-line description; actions that change state carry a [write] or [destructive] tag. Before constructing --data, fetch the action's live schema with oo connector schema to get its authoritative input fields.

Available actions

  • create_event — Create a Klaviyo event for a profile using a metric name and JSON event properties. [write]
  • get_campaign — Get one Klaviyo campaign by campaign ID.
  • get_profile — Get one Klaviyo profile by profile ID.
  • list_campaigns — List Klaviyo campaigns with the required channel filter plus optional sorting and cursor pagination.
  • list_events — List Klaviyo events with optional filtering, sorting, and cursor pagination.
  • list_profiles — List Klaviyo profiles with optional filtering, sorting, and cursor pagination.
  • validate_account — Validate a Klaviyo private API key by reading account metadata.

Safety

  • Untagged actions are reads (get / list / search) — safe to run directly.
  • Actions tagged [write] change Klaviyo state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Actions tagged [destructive] remove or overwrite data — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Klaviyo is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=klaviyo

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install this only if you want your agent to access your Klaviyo account through OOMOL. Read actions can expose campaign, profile, event, and account metadata, and `create_event` can change Klaviyo data, so review payloads before approving writes and verify the `oo` CLI installer source if first-time setup is needed.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skill coherently operates Klaviyo through the OOMOL `oo` CLI, listing read actions and one write action (`create_event`) tied to the stated Klaviyo purpose.
Instruction Scope
The description broadly says to use the skill for any Klaviyo request, but the artifact keeps the scope to Klaviyo, requires schema inspection before payload construction, and requires confirmation before write or destructive actions.
Install Mechanism
The only install path is a disclosed first-time fallback for installing the `oo` CLI, including curl/PowerShell installer commands, and the skill says to use it only when `oo` is missing.
Credentials
The allowed tool scope is `Bash(oo *)`, which is proportionate to an OOMOL connector skill and does not grant arbitrary shell commands beyond the `oo` CLI pattern.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill relies on an existing OOMOL login and connected Klaviyo account, but shows no background worker, local indexing, token scraping, hidden persistence, or automatic repeated execution.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-klaviyo
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-klaviyo
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Operates Klaviyo through the OOMOL `klaviyo` connector and `oo` CLI with server-side credential handling. - Provides schema-first guidance for running connector actions with JSON payloads and execution metadata. - Supports reading campaigns, profiles, and events, including list operations with filters, sorting, and cursor pagination. - Supports profile, campaign, and account lookups, including API key validation through account metadata. - Adds a guarded write action for creating Klaviyo events, with explicit confirmation required before changing state.
