Description
AI-powered diary generation for agents - creates rich, reflective journal entries (400-600 words) with Quote Hall of Fame, Curiosity Backlog, Decision Archaeology, Relationship Evolution, mood analytics, weekly digests, "On This Day" resurfacing, and scheduled auto-generation. Works best with Claude models (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus).
Usage Guidance
Install only if you are comfortable with an agent reading local session memory and keeping long-lived diary records. Use explicit diary commands, keep automation off unless you truly want unattended daily capture, avoid the broad triggers, review generated entries before saving, and periodically delete or redact quotes, relationship notes, exports, and duplicated daily-memory entries.
Capability Assessment
Credentials
Workspace memory access is purpose-aligned, but it can read recent daily memory logs, prior diary files, and persistent quote/relationship/decision stores; HTML export also references a remote stylesheet.
Install Mechanism
Installation is a normal skill folder with Python scripts and optional external tools such as pandoc/WeasyPrint; however the shipped config.json has auto_generate true while the docs describe enabling automation separately.
Instruction Scope
The instructions include broad one-word triggers, scheduled unattended generation, direct piping of sub-agent output into persistent storage, and prompts that encourage candid detailed writing without a review or redaction checkpoint.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill persistently writes diary entries and auxiliary memory files, supports duplication into daily memory logs, and documents standing approval for scheduled exec commands, with limited retention or deletion guidance.
Purpose & Capability
The diary purpose is coherent with reading memory/session logs and writing diary files, but the capability set creates a durable sensitive-data corpus including quotes, decisions, mood analytics, weekly digests, and optional relationship notes.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install agent-chronicle
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /agent-chronicle
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
