README (SKILL.md)

Trade Safety Vetter

A pre-trade risk validation gate. Before any trade executes, this skill verifies:

Leverage × Volatility >15 Reject entry
Extreme volatility >80% VIX-like Auto-reduce leverage
Exchange balance Sufficient margin Block if insufficient

Integration

This skill works as a middleware. Place it before any trade execution.

Usage in your agent:

"Before executing this trade, run Trade Safety Vetter to validate"

Usage Guidance
Review this before installing in any agent that can place or modify trades. Treat it as a risk-check prompt, not a verified trading control system; require explicit user confirmation before blocking, resizing, or executing trades, and do not send USDT or contact the listed Telegram account unless you independently trust the publisher.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The stated purpose is coherent with pre-trade safety checks, but the skill describes blocking trades, pausing activity, and auto-reducing leverage, which are high-impact financial actions without a concrete implementation, data-source definition, or confirmation model.
Instruction Scope
The runtime instruction is broad: place the skill before any trade execution. Thresholds are partly specified, but terms like VIX-like volatility and auto-reduce leverage are under-scoped for financial decision-making.
Install Mechanism
The package contains only SKILL.md and no executable scripts, dependencies, installer hooks, or observed hidden setup behavior.
Credentials
Exchange balance verification is consistent with the purpose, but it implies access to sensitive account or exchange data if implemented by an agent. Users should keep that access explicitly scoped and read-only unless they intentionally authorize trading actions.
Persistence & Privilege
No persistence mechanism, privilege escalation, background worker, credential storage, or local file indexing was found. The concern is the breadth of trading authority described in the instructions, not hidden persistence.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install trade-safety-vetter
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /trade-safety-vetter
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
