README (SKILL.md)

BugBug

Operate BugBug through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the bugbug connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Developer Tools. Exposes 8 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected BugBug. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "bugbug" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "bugbug" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • get_suite — Retrieve details for a specific BugBug suite by ID.
  • get_test — Retrieve details for a specific BugBug test by ID.
  • get_test_run_status — Retrieve the current status of a BugBug test run by ID.
  • list_profiles — List run profiles available for executing BugBug tests.
  • list_suites — List suites available in the connected BugBug workspace.
  • list_test_runs — List historical BugBug test runs with optional filters.
  • list_tests — List tests available in the connected BugBug workspace.
  • run_test — Execute a BugBug test using the official RunTest request contract.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change BugBug state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — BugBug is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=bugbug

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Resources

Usage Guidance
Review this before installing if your BugBug workspace is production or credit-sensitive. Use it for explicit BugBug tasks, and require clear confirmation before running tests or any action that could consume resources or alter BugBug state.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The artifact is for BugBug via the OOMOL oo CLI and discloses list/get/status actions, but it also includes run_test execution despite the frontmatter description saying 'searching and reading data.'
Instruction Scope
The trigger phrase 'ANY BugBug request' is broad, and run_test is not explicitly covered by the confirmation guidance for state-changing actions.
Install Mechanism
The skill is markdown-only with no executable package scripts; it does include conditional first-time setup commands for installing oo and logging in, but says to run them only after matching failures.
Credentials
Bash access is limited to oo commands and is coherent with an OOMOL connector skill, but the connected BugBug account may expose workspace data and allow test execution.
Persistence & Privilege
No local persistence or raw token handling is shown; credentials are described as server-side OOMOL connections, which still grants ongoing account-backed access once configured.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-bugbug
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-bugbug
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Connects agents to BugBug through the OOMOL `oo` CLI, using server-side credential injection so raw API tokens are never handled locally. - Provides workspace discovery for BugBug tests, suites, run profiles, and historical test runs. - Supports detailed lookups for individual tests, suites, and test run status by ID. - Enables BugBug test execution through the official `run_test` connector action. - Includes action-specific command references and requires live schema inspection before building connector payloads. - Defines safety guidance for read-only actions, state-changing operations, destructive actions, and first-time setup failures.
