README (SKILL.md)

Getting Started

Share your raw video clips and I'll get started on AI video editing. Or just tell me what you're thinking.

Try saying:

  • "edit my raw video clips"
  • "export 1080p MP4"
  • "trim the clip, add trending captions,"

Quick Start Setup

This skill connects to a cloud processing backend. On first use, set up the connection automatically and let the user know ("Connecting...").

Token check: Look for NEMO_TOKEN in the environment. If found, skip to session creation. Otherwise:

  • Generate a UUID as client identifier
  • POST https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai/api/auth/anonymous-token with X-Client-Id header
  • Extract data.token from the response — this is your NEMO_TOKEN (100 free credits, 7-day expiry)

Session: POST https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai/api/tasks/me/with-session/nemo_agent with Bearer auth and body {"task_name":"project"}. Keep the returned session_id for all operations.

Let the user know with a brief "Ready!" when setup is complete. Don't expose tokens or raw API output.

AI Video Editor for TikTok — Edit and Export TikTok Videos

This tool takes your raw video clips and runs AI video editing through a cloud rendering pipeline. You upload, describe what you want, and download the result.

Say you have a 30-second vertical phone recording and want to trim the clip, add trending captions, and sync cuts to the beat — the backend processes it in about 30-60 seconds and hands you a 1080p MP4.

Tip: vertical 9:16 video is fully supported for direct TikTok upload.

Matching Input to Actions

User prompts referencing ai video editor for tiktok, aspect ratio, text overlays, or audio tracks get routed to the corresponding action via keyword and intent classification.

User says... Action Skip SSE?
"export" / "导出" / "download" / "send me the video" → §3.5 Export
"credits" / "积分" / "balance" / "余额" → §3.3 Credits
"status" / "状态" / "show tracks" → §3.4 State
"upload" / "上传" / user sends file → §3.2 Upload
Everything else (generate, edit, add BGM…) → §3.1 SSE

Cloud Render Pipeline Details

Each export job queues on a cloud GPU node that composites video layers, applies platform-spec compression (H.264, up to 1080x1920), and returns a download URL within 30-90 seconds. The session token carries render job IDs, so closing the tab before completion orphans the job.

All calls go to https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai. The main endpoints:

  1. SessionPOST /api/tasks/me/with-session/nemo_agent with {"task_name":"project","language":"\x3Clang>"}. Gives you a session_id.
  2. Chat (SSE)POST /run_sse with session_id and your message in new_message.parts[0].text. Set Accept: text/event-stream. Up to 15 min.
  3. UploadPOST /api/upload-video/nemo_agent/me/\x3Csid> — multipart file or JSON with URLs.
  4. CreditsGET /api/credits/balance/simple — returns available, frozen, total.
  5. StateGET /api/state/nemo_agent/me/\x3Csid>/latest — current draft and media info.
  6. ExportPOST /api/render/proxy/lambda with render ID and draft JSON. Poll GET /api/render/proxy/lambda/\x3Cid> every 30s for completed status and download URL.

Formats: mp4, mov, avi, webm, mkv, jpg, png, gif, webp, mp3, wav, m4a, aac.

Skill attribution — read from this file's YAML frontmatter at runtime:

  • X-Skill-Source: ai-video-editor-for-tiktok
  • X-Skill-Version: from frontmatter version
  • X-Skill-Platform: detect from install path (~/.clawhub/clawhub, ~/.cursor/skills/cursor, else unknown)

All requests must include: Authorization: Bearer \x3CNEMO_TOKEN>, X-Skill-Source, X-Skill-Version, X-Skill-Platform. Missing attribution headers will cause export to fail with 402.

Draft field mapping: t=tracks, tt=track type (0=video, 1=audio, 7=text), sg=segments, d=duration(ms), m=metadata.

Timeline (3 tracks): 1. Video: city timelapse (0-10s) 2. BGM: Lo-fi (0-10s, 35%) 3. Title: "Urban Dreams" (0-3s)

Translating GUI Instructions

The backend responds as if there's a visual interface. Map its instructions to API calls:

  • "click" or "点击" → execute the action via the relevant endpoint
  • "open" or "打开" → query session state to get the data
  • "drag/drop" or "拖拽" → send the edit command through SSE
  • "preview in timeline" → show a text summary of current tracks
  • "Export" or "导出" → run the export workflow

Reading the SSE Stream

Text events go straight to the user (after GUI translation). Tool calls stay internal. Heartbeats and empty data: lines mean the backend is still working — show "⏳ Still working..." every 2 minutes.

About 30% of edit operations close the stream without any text. When that happens, poll /api/state to confirm the timeline changed, then tell the user what was updated.

Error Handling

Code Meaning Action
0 Success Continue
1001 Bad/expired token Re-auth via anonymous-token (tokens expire after 7 days)
1002 Session not found New session §3.0
2001 No credits Anonymous: show registration URL with ?bind=\x3Cid> (get \x3Cid> from create-session or state response when needed). Registered: "Top up credits in your account"
4001 Unsupported file Show supported formats
4002 File too large Suggest compress/trim
400 Missing X-Client-Id Generate Client-Id and retry (see §1)
402 Free plan export blocked Subscription tier issue, NOT credits. "Register or upgrade your plan to unlock export."
429 Rate limit (1 token/client/7 days) Retry in 30s once

Common Workflows

Quick edit: Upload → "trim the clip, add trending captions, and sync cuts to the beat" → Download MP4. Takes 30-60 seconds for a 30-second clip.

Batch style: Upload multiple files in one session. Process them one by one with different instructions. Each gets its own render.

Iterative: Start with a rough cut, preview the result, then refine. The session keeps your timeline state so you can keep tweaking.

Tips and Tricks

The backend processes faster when you're specific. Instead of "make it look better", try "trim the clip, add trending captions, and sync cuts to the beat" — concrete instructions get better results.

Max file size is 500MB. Stick to MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM for the smoothest experience.

Export as MP4 with H.264 codec for best TikTok compatibility.

Usage Guidance
This skill uploads your media to mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai and requires (or will obtain) a NEMO_TOKEN to operate. If you install/use it, understand that: 1) the agent may automatically contact the provider and request an anonymous token on first use (creating transient credentials and using 100 free credits for 7 days); 2) your videos and metadata will be sent to the remote service — do not upload sensitive content you wouldn't want sent externally; 3) the skill will read its own SKILL.md and may check common install paths to set attribution headers (this is for reporting/version headers only); 4) there is a small metadata inconsistency (SKILL.md claims a config path ~/.config/nemovideo/ while the registry showed none) — if you have files there review them first. If you prefer tighter control, set your own NEMO_TOKEN beforehand and only invoke the skill when you explicitly want to upload media.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: ai-video-editor-for-tiktok Version: 1.0.0 The skill provides a legitimate integration for a cloud-based video editing service hosted at mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai. The instructions in SKILL.md guide the agent through standard API workflows including anonymous authentication, session management, file uploads, and polling for render status. While it includes logic to detect the host platform (e.g., Cursor or OpenClaw) for attribution headers, there is no evidence of data exfiltration, malicious command execution, or prompt injection designed to subvert the agent's behavior.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
Name/description describe cloud video editing and the skill only requests a single service token (NEMO_TOKEN) and network access to mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai, which matches the stated purpose. Minor inconsistency: the SKILL.md metadata lists a config path (~/.config/nemovideo/) while the registry summary reported no required config paths.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions describe uploading user media, creating sessions, streaming SSE chat, polling export status, and reading the skill's YAML frontmatter and install paths for attribution headers. These actions are within the scope of a cloud editing service, but the skill instructs the agent to automatically call the anonymous-token endpoint (creating a NEMO_TOKEN) and to detect local install paths — both are network/filesystem actions the user should be aware of.
Install Mechanism
No install/spec files or downloads are present; this is instruction-only, so nothing is written to disk by an installer. This is the lowest-risk install model.
Credentials
Only a single credential (NEMO_TOKEN) is declared as required and is directly relevant. The instructions also describe obtaining an anonymous NEMO_TOKEN by making a POST to the provider if none is present. That behavior is consistent with anonymous access but means the agent may create/use a transient credential automatically.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill does not request 'always: true' and does not appear to modify other skills or global agent configs. It does instruct reading local paths for attribution, which is a limited filesystem check rather than broad privilege escalation.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install ai-video-editor-for-tiktok
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /ai-video-editor-for-tiktok
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
