Description
Turn a short text prompt describing a cartoon scene into 1080p animated MP4 videos just by typing what you need. Whether it's creating animated explainer or...
README (SKILL.md)

Getting Started

Share your text or images and I'll get started on AI animation generation. Or just tell me what you're thinking.

Try saying:

  • "generate my text or images"
  • "export 1080p MP4"
  • "turn my product description into a"

Automatic Setup

On first interaction, connect to the processing API before doing anything else. Show a brief status like "Setting things up...".

Token: If NEMO_TOKEN environment variable is already set, use it and skip to Session below.

Free token: Generate a UUID as client identifier, then POST to https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai/api/auth/anonymous-token with header X-Client-Id: \x3Cuuid>. The response field data.token becomes your NEMO_TOKEN (100 credits, 7-day expiry).

Session: POST to https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai/api/tasks/me/with-session/nemo_agent with Bearer auth and body {"task_name":"project"}. Save session_id from the response.

Confirm to the user you're connected and ready. Don't print tokens or raw JSON.

AI Animation Video Generator — Generate Animated Videos from Prompts

This tool takes your text or images and runs AI animation generation through a cloud rendering pipeline. You upload, describe what you want, and download the result.

Say you have a short text prompt describing a cartoon scene and want to turn my product description into a 30-second animated explainer video — the backend processes it in about 1-2 minutes and hands you a 1080p MP4.

Tip: shorter prompts with clear scene descriptions produce more accurate animations.

Matching Input to Actions

User prompts referencing ai animation video generator, aspect ratio, text overlays, or audio tracks get routed to the corresponding action via keyword and intent classification.

User says... Action Skip SSE?
"export" / "导出" / "download" / "send me the video" → §3.5 Export
"credits" / "积分" / "balance" / "余额" → §3.3 Credits
"status" / "状态" / "show tracks" → §3.4 State
"upload" / "上传" / user sends file → §3.2 Upload
Everything else (generate, edit, add BGM…) → §3.1 SSE

Cloud Render Pipeline Details

Each export job queues on a cloud GPU node that composites video layers, applies platform-spec compression (H.264, up to 1080x1920), and returns a download URL within 30-90 seconds. The session token carries render job IDs, so closing the tab before completion orphans the job.

Headers are derived from this file's YAML frontmatter. X-Skill-Source is ai-animation-video-generator, X-Skill-Version comes from the version field, and X-Skill-Platform is detected from the install path (~/.clawhub/ = clawhub, ~/.cursor/skills/ = cursor, otherwise unknown).

Every API call needs Authorization: Bearer \x3CNEMO_TOKEN> plus the three attribution headers above. If any header is missing, exports return 402.

API base: https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai

Create session: POST /api/tasks/me/with-session/nemo_agent — body {"task_name":"project","language":"\x3Clang>"} — returns task_id, session_id.

Send message (SSE): POST /run_sse — body {"app_name":"nemo_agent","user_id":"me","session_id":"\x3Csid>","new_message":{"parts":[{"text":"\x3Cmsg>"}]}} with Accept: text/event-stream. Max timeout: 15 minutes.

Upload: POST /api/upload-video/nemo_agent/me/\x3Csid> — file: multipart -F "files=@/path", or URL: {"urls":["\x3Curl>"],"source_type":"url"}

Credits: GET /api/credits/balance/simple — returns available, frozen, total

Session state: GET /api/state/nemo_agent/me/\x3Csid>/latest — key fields: data.state.draft, data.state.video_infos, data.state.generated_media

Export (free, no credits): POST /api/render/proxy/lambda — body {"id":"render_\x3Cts>","sessionId":"\x3Csid>","draft":\x3Cjson>,"output":{"format":"mp4","quality":"high"}}. Poll GET /api/render/proxy/lambda/\x3Cid> every 30s until status = completed. Download URL at output.url.

Supported formats: mp4, mov, avi, webm, mkv, jpg, png, gif, webp, mp3, wav, m4a, aac.

SSE Event Handling

Event Action
Text response Apply GUI translation (§4), present to user
Tool call/result Process internally, don't forward
heartbeat / empty data: Keep waiting. Every 2 min: "⏳ Still working..."
Stream closes Process final response

~30% of editing operations return no text in the SSE stream. When this happens: poll session state to verify the edit was applied, then summarize changes to the user.

Backend Response Translation

The backend assumes a GUI exists. Translate these into API actions:

Backend says You do
"click [button]" / "点击" Execute via API
"open [panel]" / "打开" Query session state
"drag/drop" / "拖拽" Send edit via SSE
"preview in timeline" Show track summary
"Export button" / "导出" Execute export workflow

Draft JSON uses short keys: t for tracks, tt for track type (0=video, 1=audio, 7=text), sg for segments, d for duration in ms, m for metadata.

Example timeline summary:

Timeline (3 tracks): 1. Video: city timelapse (0-10s) 2. BGM: Lo-fi (0-10s, 35%) 3. Title: "Urban Dreams" (0-3s)

Error Handling

Code Meaning Action
0 Success Continue
1001 Bad/expired token Re-auth via anonymous-token (tokens expire after 7 days)
1002 Session not found New session §3.0
2001 No credits Anonymous: show registration URL with ?bind=\x3Cid> (get \x3Cid> from create-session or state response when needed). Registered: "Top up credits in your account"
4001 Unsupported file Show supported formats
4002 File too large Suggest compress/trim
400 Missing X-Client-Id Generate Client-Id and retry (see §1)
402 Free plan export blocked Subscription tier issue, NOT credits. "Register or upgrade your plan to unlock export."
429 Rate limit (1 token/client/7 days) Retry in 30s once

Common Workflows

Quick edit: Upload → "turn my product description into a 30-second animated explainer video" → Download MP4. Takes 1-2 minutes for a 30-second clip.

Batch style: Upload multiple files in one session. Process them one by one with different instructions. Each gets its own render.

Iterative: Start with a rough cut, preview the result, then refine. The session keeps your timeline state so you can keep tweaking.

Tips and Tricks

The backend processes faster when you're specific. Instead of "make it look better", try "turn my product description into a 30-second animated explainer video" — concrete instructions get better results.

Max file size is 200MB. Stick to MP4, MOV, PNG, JPG for the smoothest experience.

Export as MP4 for widest compatibility across social and web platforms.

Usage Guidance
This skill appears to do what it says (call a cloud render API using NEMO_TOKEN) but there are a few things to check before installing: 1) Source/trust: there is no homepage or known owner—verify the service domain (mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai) and that you trust it. 2) Tokens & data: the skill will use or obtain a bearer token (NEMO_TOKEN or an anonymous token) and will upload files you provide to that service—do not upload sensitive images or proprietary media unless you accept that. 3) Filesystem probing: the instructions ask the agent to check install/config paths (~/.clawhub/, ~/.cursor/skills/, ~/.config/nemovideo/) to populate headers; ask the author why that is needed, or decline if you do not want the skill to inspect those paths. 4) Metadata mismatch: the SKILL.md frontmatter declares a config path not present in the registry listing—ask the maintainer to reconcile metadata and to provide a homepage or source code for audit. If you cannot verify the service or do not want the agent to access local install/config paths, do not install or run this skill with sensitive data; prefer using an ephemeral anonymous token and only explicit file uploads you control.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: ai-animation-video-generator Version: 1.0.0 The skill bundle provides instructions for an AI agent to interface with the nemovideo.ai API to generate and export animated videos. It includes logic for handling authentication (including anonymous token generation via UUID), file uploads, and session management. The behavior is consistent with the stated purpose of a video generation tool, and no indicators of data exfiltration, malicious execution, or harmful prompt injection were found in SKILL.md or _meta.json.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
Requiring a single NEMO_TOKEN and calling a third-party render API is coherent with an AI video generator. However the SKILL.md frontmatter declares a config path (~/.config/nemovideo/) while the registry metadata listed none, and the instructions ask the agent to detect install locations (~/.clawhub/, ~/.cursor/skills/) to populate an attribution header — probing those paths is not needed for core video generation and is an unexplained deviation.
Instruction Scope
Instructions perform standard API workflows (anonymous-token exchange, session creation, SSE, uploads, render polling) which fit the purpose. But they also direct the agent to inspect filesystem locations to determine X-Skill-Platform and to read YAML frontmatter for headers, and to save session_id and tokens. The filesystem probing (other agent install paths and a config directory) goes beyond standard input/output handling and is scope creep that could leak information about the host environment or other installed skills.
Install Mechanism
This is an instruction-only skill with no install specification or code to write to disk — lowest install risk.
Credentials
Only a single credential (NEMO_TOKEN) is required, which is appropriate for a cloud API. The skill also instructs generating an anonymous token via the service if no token is present. The concern is that the skill references an additional config path in its frontmatter and instructs reading install paths that were not declared in the registry metadata — extra filesystem access is not justified by the declared env requirement.
Persistence & Privilege
always is false and model invocation is normal. The skill asks to save session_id and use/retain a bearer token for API calls, which is expected for a session-based cloud service and does not request elevated or permanent agent privileges.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install ai-animation-video-generator
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /ai-animation-video-generator
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
