Install in OpenClaw
/install performyard
Description
PerformYard integration. Manage data, records, and automate workflows. Use when the user wants to interact with PerformYard data.
Usage Guidance
This skill is instruction-only and coherent: it tells you to install the Membrane CLI and authenticate via Membrane to connect to PerformYard. Before proceeding: (1) confirm you trust getmembrane.com / @membranehq/cli and review the npm package and its publisher; (2) be aware global npm installs run code on your machine—install in a controlled environment if concerned; (3) you will need a Membrane account and to authenticate in a browser (or complete headless login steps); (4) the skill does not ask for API keys or other secrets—do not paste PerformYard or unrelated credentials into chat; (5) if you want stronger assurance, review the Membrane CLI source and privacy docs or test in an isolated environment first.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill
Name: performyard
Version: 1.0.4
The skill bundle provides instructions for an AI agent to interact with PerformYard using the Membrane framework and CLI. The instructions in SKILL.md focus on legitimate integration tasks such as authentication, action discovery, and workflow automation through the `membrane` command-line tool. There is no evidence of data exfiltration, malicious code execution, or harmful prompt injection; the documentation actually emphasizes security best practices by advising against manual credential handling.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skill describes a PerformYard integration and all runtime instructions use the Membrane CLI to connect to PerformYard. No unrelated services, credentials, or binaries are requested.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md limits actions to installing and using the Membrane CLI, authenticating via Membrane, creating connections, discovering and running actions, and building actions when needed. It does not instruct reading unrelated files, exfiltrating environment variables, or contacting unexpected endpoints beyond Membrane/PerformYard.
Install Mechanism
The skill instructs installing @membranehq/cli globally via npm (npm install -g). That is expected for a CLI-based integration but has the usual caution: installing global npm packages runs third-party code on the system. The skill itself includes no automatic installer and is instruction-only.
Credentials
The skill declares no required env vars or credentials and explicitly directs users to rely on Membrane's managed auth. This is proportionate to a connector integration.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not always-enabled, uses default autonomous invocation, and does not request system-wide configuration or access to other skills. No elevated persistence is requested.
How to Use
- Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
- Run the install command in chat:
/install performyard - After installation, invoke the skill by name or use
/performyard - Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
