Description
Postmark (postmarkapp.com). Use this skill for ANY Postmark request — reading, creating, and updating data. Whenever a task involves Postmark, use this skill...
README (SKILL.md)

Postmark

Operate Postmark through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the postmark connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Communication, Marketing. Exposes 12 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Postmark. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "postmark" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "postmark" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • create_template — Create a new template in the current Postmark server.
  • edit_template — Edit an existing Postmark template by template ID or alias.
  • get_bounces — Get Postmark bounces for the current server with optional filters.
  • get_outbound_message_details — Get detailed content and events for one outbound Postmark message.
  • get_server — Get the current Postmark server configuration for the connected server token.
  • get_template — Get one Postmark template by template ID or alias.
  • list_templates — List templates available in the current Postmark server.
  • search_outbound_messages — Search outbound Postmark messages with filters and pagination.
  • send_batch_with_templates — Send up to 500 templated emails in a single Postmark batch request.
  • send_email — Send a transactional email through the current Postmark server.
  • send_email_with_template — Send a single templated email through the current Postmark server.
  • validate_template — Validate Postmark template content against the official template renderer.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Postmark state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Postmark is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=postmark

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install this only if you intend to let an agent operate your Postmark account through OOMOL. Review any email recipients, template changes, or batch sends before approval, since those actions can send real messages or alter production email templates.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The stated purpose is operating a connected Postmark account, and the listed actions match that purpose: reading server/templates/messages/bounces, creating or editing templates, validating templates, and sending single or batch emails.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions tell the agent to use the `oo connector` schema and run commands for the Postmark connector, and explicitly require confirmation before create, update, send, post, delete, or remove actions.
Install Mechanism
The skill is markdown-only and declares `Bash(oo *)`; first-time setup includes remote OOMOL CLI installer commands, but only as fallback when the CLI is missing.
Credentials
Access is scoped to the OOMOL-connected Postmark account and is proportionate for the communication and marketing workflow; credentials are described as injected server-side rather than handled directly by the agent.
Persistence & Privilege
No background workers, persistence hooks, local indexing, privilege escalation, or executable package files were found; authentication and connection setup are one-time user-account actions.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-postmark
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-postmark
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
