README (SKILL.md)

Langbase

Operate Langbase through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the langbase connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: AI, Data & Analytics. Exposes 4 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Langbase. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "langbase" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "langbase" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • create_memory — Create a Langbase memory with the official Memory Create API and return the normalized created memory summary.
  • delete_memory — Delete an existing Langbase memory by name and return whether the delete request succeeded.
  • list_memories — List Langbase memories available to the connected User or Org API key and return stable memory summaries.
  • retrieve_memory — Retrieve similar chunks from one or more Langbase memories with the official Memory Retrieve API.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Langbase state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Langbase is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=langbase

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install only if you intend to let an agent operate your connected Langbase account through OOMOL. Review payloads before create actions, approve delete actions only when the target is exact, and run the oo CLI installer only if you trust OOMOL's installation script and account connection flow.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The artifacts consistently describe a Langbase-focused skill using the oo CLI to access four Langbase memory actions: create, list, retrieve, and delete.
Instruction Scope
The trigger wording is broad for Langbase-related requests, but the described authority stays within Langbase connector operations and includes explicit confirmation requirements for create and delete actions.
Install Mechanism
First-time setup includes a curl-to-bash installer for the oo CLI if it is missing; this is disclosed and purpose-aligned, but users should be comfortable trusting OOMOL's installer before running it.
Credentials
The skill relies on the connected OOMOL/Langbase account and live connector schemas rather than asking the agent to handle raw Langbase API tokens directly.
Persistence & Privilege
It can make persistent changes in Langbase memories, including deletion, but the artifact flags these actions as state-changing or destructive and requires explicit user approval.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-langbase
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-langbase
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Introduces an OOMOL-powered Langbase skill for operating a connected Langbase account through the `oo` CLI without handling raw API tokens. - Supports inspecting live connector schemas before execution, so action payloads stay aligned with the current Langbase API contract. - Adds memory management actions for creating, listing, retrieving from, and deleting Langbase memories. - Enables semantic retrieval of similar chunks across one or more Langbase memories via the official Memory Retrieve API. - Defines clear safety rules for state-changing and destructive actions, including explicit confirmation before creating or deleting Langbase data.
