Gladia

Operate Gladia through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the gladia connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: AI, Design & Media. Exposes 6 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Gladia. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "gladia" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "gladia" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • delete_transcription — Delete a Gladia pre-recorded transcription job and its associated data.
  • download_transcription_audio — Download the original audio file for a Gladia pre-recorded transcription and store it in connector transit storage.
  • get_transcription — Retrieve a Gladia pre-recorded transcription job by ID, including results when done.
  • list_transcriptions — List Gladia pre-recorded transcription jobs with optional pagination, date, status, and metadata filters.
  • start_transcription — Start an asynchronous Gladia pre-recorded transcription job from a public audio or video URL.
  • upload_file — Upload an audio or video file up to 100 MiB to Gladia from a local file path, connector transit file, base64 content, or public URL.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Gladia state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Gladia is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=gladia

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install only if you trust OOMOL/oo CLI access to your Gladia account and intend to let the agent manage transcription jobs. Confirm uploads, transcription starts, audio downloads, and deletes carefully, especially for confidential recordings, and clean up transit-stored audio when it is no longer needed.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The artifacts consistently describe operating Gladia transcription workflows through an OOMOL-connected account, including listing, retrieving, starting, uploading, downloading original audio, and deleting transcription data.
Instruction Scope
The frontmatter uses broad routing language for any Gladia request, but the runtime instructions limit execution to named Gladia connector actions, require live schema inspection, and require confirmation for write and destructive actions.
Install Mechanism
No package install or executable payload is bundled; first-time setup only points to installing and authenticating the oo CLI if commands fail for missing CLI or auth reasons.
Credentials
The skill requires sensitive Gladia/OOMOL account access and can handle local or remote audio/video content up to 100 MiB, which is proportionate for a transcription-management skill but should be used only with authorized media.
Persistence & Privilege
There is no background persistence or privilege escalation in the artifact, but downloaded original audio is explicitly stored in connector transit storage and deletion actions can remove Gladia data after approval.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-gladia
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-gladia
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Initial release of the `oo-gladia` skill for operating Gladia through an OOMOL-connected account using the `oo` CLI. - Supports asynchronous pre-recorded audio and video transcription jobs from public media URLs. - Provides transcription management actions to list jobs, retrieve job details and completed results, and delete transcription data when explicitly approved. - Adds file upload support for audio and video sources up to 100 MiB from local paths, transit files, base64 content, or public URLs. - Includes an action to download the original audio for a transcription into connector transit storage. - Documents safe execution patterns, including live schema inspection before each connector call and confirmation requirements for write or destructive actions.
