SEO Copywriting Guide

1. Match Search Intent First

Is the query informational, commercial, transactional, or navigational? Your content format must match (guide, product page, comparison, etc.) or rankings won't stick.

2. Primary Keyword Placement

Include primary keyword in: Title (H1), first 100 words, at least 1โ€“2 subheadings, meta description, and URL slug.

3. Use LSI & Related Terms

Don't stuff exact match keywords. Use semantically related terms. Google understands topic clusters, not just keyword frequency.

4. Write for the Featured Snippet

Include a concise definition or answer in the first 50โ€“60 words. Use "What is..." / "How to..." structure. Google often extracts this for position 0.

5. Optimize Meta Description

155โ€“160 characters. Include primary keyword naturally. Write it as a benefit โ€” what will the reader gain? No keyword stuffing.

6. Internal Linking Strategy

Link to related pages using descriptive anchor text. Don't use "click here" โ€” use the target page's keyword as anchor text.

7. Page Experience Signals

Fast loading, mobile-friendly, no intrusive interstitials. Google uses Core Web Vitals as ranking factors. Speed = SEO.
