README (SKILL.md)

GraphHopper

Operate GraphHopper through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the graphhopper connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Maps & Location, Developer Tools. Exposes 5 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected GraphHopper. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "graphhopper" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "graphhopper" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • calculate_route — Calculate the best route connecting two or more coordinates with the GraphHopper Routing API.
  • compute_isochrone — Compute GeoJSON isochrone polygons around a coordinate with the GraphHopper Isochrone API.
  • compute_matrix — Compute a synchronous travel time, distance, or weight matrix with the GraphHopper Matrix API.
  • geocode — Convert text to coordinates or coordinates to place candidates with the GraphHopper Geocoding API.
  • list_profiles — List custom routing profiles available to the GraphHopper API key.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change GraphHopper state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — GraphHopper is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=graphhopper

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install if you are comfortable sending GraphHopper queries, including locations and route inputs, through the oo CLI/OOMOL connector to GraphHopper. Use a dedicated GraphHopper/OOMOL connection where possible, watch API credit or billing effects, and review the oo CLI installer before running first-time setup commands.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The stated purpose is operating GraphHopper through an OOMOL-connected account, and the artifacts only define GraphHopper actions for route calculation, geocoding, isochrones, matrices, and profile listing.
Instruction Scope
The skill broadly says to use it for GraphHopper requests, but that scope is bounded to the GraphHopper connector and instructs the agent to fetch live schemas before sending payloads.
Install Mechanism
The package is Markdown-only with no executable scripts or dependencies; first-time setup documents installing and logging into the oo CLI only after an auth or missing-command failure.
Credentials
Network calls, location inputs, route queries, and GraphHopper API-key-backed access are expected for this connector; credentials are described as handled server-side by OOMOL rather than embedded in the skill.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill itself shows no background workers, local indexing, file mutation, or persistence, though oo CLI login and OOMOL account connection may create normal external account/session state.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-graphhopper
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-graphhopper
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Initial release of the `oo-graphhopper` skill for operating GraphHopper through an OOMOL-connected account via the `oo` CLI. - Adds routing support to calculate the best route across two or more coordinates with the GraphHopper Routing API. - Adds geocoding and reverse geocoding support for converting between place text and coordinate candidates. - Adds isochrone support for computing GeoJSON reachability polygons around a coordinate. - Adds matrix support for synchronous travel time, distance, or weight calculations across locations. - Adds profile discovery for listing custom routing profiles available to the connected GraphHopper API key.
