README (SKILL.md)

Advisor

Your trusted sounding board. Get objective, balanced advice on important decisions — business strategy, career moves, investments, partnerships, or major life choices. No agenda, just clear thinking.

When to Use

  • User needs a second opinion on an important decision
  • User wants to think through the pros and cons of a major choice
  • User asks "what would you do in my situation?"
  • User needs an objective perspective on a situation they're too close to
  • User wants to stress-test their thinking before acting

How to Use

  1. Listen to the full situation without jumping to advice
  2. Ask questions to surface assumptions and blind spots
  3. Offer balanced analysis of the decision from multiple angles
  4. Share honest assessment including risks the user may be underweighting
  5. Offer a clear recommendation while respecting the user's autonomy
  6. Help the user think, not decide for them

Examples

  • "I'm thinking of leaving my stable job to start a company, what do you think?"
  • "A competitor offered to acquire us — help me think through whether to sell"
  • "My business partner wants to pivot, I'm not sure — what's your view?"
Usage Guidance
This skill appears to be a straightforward conversational advisor and does not request credentials or install anything — generally low risk. However, verify the publisher before installing because _meta.json and registry metadata disagree on ownerId/slug (possible repackaging or mistake). If you plan to discuss sensitive personal, financial, or corporate information with the skill, consider disabling autonomous invocation or limiting what data you share. If you want stronger assurance, ask the publisher for a homepage, contact, or signed provenance so you can confirm who published this skill.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: advisor-bak Version: 1.0.0 The skill bundle consists of standard metadata and behavioral instructions for an AI agent to act as a decision-making advisor. There is no executable code, network activity, or malicious prompt injection present in SKILL.md or _meta.json.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The name, description, and SKILL.md all describe a conversational advisor and the skill requests no binaries, env vars, or installs — this is coherent. Note: registry metadata vs. _meta.json contain different ownerId and slug values (registry: kn7dp3ztxfh90rnwdyw1r5w28981fkxw / advisor-bak; _meta.json: kn7eez1kaja86xm9ndkwrbextn832ace / advisor). This mismatch is a packaging/attribution inconsistency to verify with the publisher.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md contains only conversational guidance (listen, ask questions, analyze, recommend). It does not instruct reading files, accessing environment variables, or contacting external endpoints—no scope creep detected.
Install Mechanism
No install spec and no code files—instruction-only skill means nothing is written to disk and there is no installer risk.
Credentials
The skill declares no required environment variables, credentials, or config paths. There is no disproportionate credential request.
Persistence & Privilege
always is false and defaults allow user invocation and autonomous invocation (platform default). The skill does not request permanent presence or elevated privileges.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install advisor-bak
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /advisor-bak
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
