Description
Evaluate, optimize, and enhance prompts using 58 proven prompting techniques. Use when user asks to improve, optimize, or analyze a prompt; when a prompt nee...
Usage Guidance
Before installing, verify you trust the publisher because the package metadata is inconsistent. When using the CLI, quote prompt and technique arguments carefully, especially if the prompt contains shell metacharacters. The inspected skill otherwise stays local and does not appear to access private data or modify your system.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: prompt-optimizer Version: 1.0.0 The `SKILL.md` file presents shell command examples (`node skills/prompt-optimizer/index.js get <technique_name>`, `node skills/prompt-optimizer/index.js optimize "<your_prompt>" --technique "<technique_name>"`) that directly incorporate user-controlled input. If the OpenClaw agent executes these instructions by interpolating user input without proper shell quoting, it creates a shell injection vulnerability. While the `index.js` script itself does not contain malicious code and attempts to strip quotes from its arguments, the `SKILL.md` instructions represent a significant risk for arbitrary command execution against the agent's host environment.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The artifacts coherently implement a Node.js prompt-optimization CLI that reads included reference markdown and prints transformed prompts. There are minor quality/provenance notes: the documentation claims 58 techniques while the parser lists 42, and package/_meta publisher identifiers are inconsistent.
Instruction Scope
Runtime instructions are limited to listing techniques, showing a technique, or optimizing a provided prompt. The shell examples include user-provided prompt text, so users should quote inputs carefully, but the code does not execute the prompt content.
Install Mechanism
The package has no dependencies, install hooks, downloads, or archive extraction behavior in the inspected artifacts.
Credentials
The skill reads only its bundled reference files and does not request credentials, environment variables, browser/session stores, broad local indexing, or network access.
Persistence & Privilege
No persistence, background worker, privilege escalation, file mutation, or agent-wide configuration changes are present. The optional test script invokes static local Node commands only.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install prompt-optimizer
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /prompt-optimizer
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
