README (SKILL.md)

Healthchecks.io

Operate Healthchecks.io through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the healthchecks_io connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Developer Tools. Exposes 11 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Healthchecks.io. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "healthchecks_io" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "healthchecks_io" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • create_check — Create a Healthchecks.io simple or cron check.
  • delete_check — Delete a Healthchecks.io check by UUID.
  • get_check — Get a Healthchecks.io check by UUID or unique key.
  • list_badges — List badge metadata in the current Healthchecks.io project.
  • list_channels — List notification integrations in the current Healthchecks.io project.
  • list_checks — List Healthchecks.io checks in the current project.
  • list_flips — List Healthchecks.io status flips for a check by UUID or unique key.
  • list_pings — List recent Healthchecks.io pings for a check by UUID.
  • pause_check — Pause monitoring for a Healthchecks.io check by UUID.
  • resume_check — Resume monitoring for a Healthchecks.io check by UUID.
  • update_check — Update a Healthchecks.io check by UUID.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Healthchecks.io state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Healthchecks.io is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=healthchecks_io

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install this only if you trust OOMOL and want an agent to manage Healthchecks.io checks in your connected account. Review targets and payloads before approving create, update, pause, resume, or delete actions, and treat the CLI installer command as sensitive setup that should be run only from a trusted source.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The artifacts coherently match the stated purpose: reading Healthchecks.io project data and creating, updating, pausing, resuming, or deleting checks through the OOMOL `oo` connector.
Instruction Scope
Runtime commands are scoped to `oo connector schema` and `oo connector run` for the `healthchecks_io` service, and the skill tells agents to confirm write and destructive actions; the manifest uses broad service-trigger wording but remains service-specific.
Install Mechanism
First-time setup includes HTTPS `curl | bash` and PowerShell `irm | iex` installer commands for the OOMOL CLI. This is disclosed and conditional on `oo` being missing, but users should verify the source before running it.
Credentials
The skill requires a connected Healthchecks.io account/API key, which is proportionate to its purpose, and it states OOMOL injects credentials server-side rather than asking the agent to handle raw tokens.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill depends on persistent OOMOL login and app-connection state, but the artifact shows no background workers, local indexing, privilege escalation, or hidden persistence beyond that account connection.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-healthchecks-io
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-healthchecks-io
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Adds an OOMOL skill for operating Healthchecks.io through the `healthchecks_io` connector without handling raw API tokens. - Supports managing checks end to end: create, inspect, update, pause, resume, and delete Healthchecks.io checks. - Provides read actions for project observability data, including checks, pings, status flips, badges, and notification channels. - Documents safe execution patterns using `oo connector schema` before each action and `oo connector run` for JSON-based calls. - Includes explicit safety guidance for write and destructive actions, requiring confirmation before changing or deleting Healthchecks.io state.
