README (SKILL.md)

Doppler

Operate Doppler through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the doppler connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Developer Tools, Security & Identity. Exposes 44 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Doppler. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "doppler" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "doppler" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Doppler state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Doppler is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=doppler

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Review before installing. This skill should only be used with a Doppler account and scopes you are comfortable exposing to an agent. Ask for explicit confirmation before any secret export, secret read, service-token creation, lease issuance, approval, clone, or deletion, and avoid printing raw secrets into chat or logs.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skill clearly targets Doppler administration and discloses read, create, update, delete, secret, service-token, sync, and change-request workflows; those capabilities fit the stated purpose but are high-impact.
Instruction Scope
The main safety section requires confirmation for create/update/delete actions, but secret reads and exports are treated like ordinary read actions, and some non-read actions such as clone_config, review_change_request_unit, and issue_dynamic_secret_lease lack explicit confirmation guidance.
Install Mechanism
The skill is markdown-only and uses the oo CLI via allowed Bash(oo *) commands; first-time setup documents remote CLI install commands, but they are disclosed and only suggested after a missing-CLI failure.
Credentials
Use of OOMOL-connected Doppler credentials and the oo connector is coherent for the integration, and the artifacts say raw Doppler tokens are injected server-side rather than handled locally.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill can access raw secret values, export config secrets, create service tokens, issue dynamic secret leases, and delete Doppler resources; these are disclosed, but the docs do not consistently require explicit user approval or safe handling for all sensitive credential outputs.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-doppler
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-doppler
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Introduces `oo-doppler`, an OOMOL skill for operating Doppler through the `doppler` connector and `oo` CLI without handling raw Doppler tokens locally. - Supports full Doppler project, environment, config, secret, service token, sync, integration, and change request workflows across 44 actions. - Provides read actions for inspecting workspace identity, projects, environments, configs, secrets, integrations, syncs, service tokens, and config change logs. - Enables controlled write workflows for creating and updating projects, environments, configs, secrets, service tokens, syncs, and change requests. - Includes destructive operations for deleting projects, environments, configs, secrets, service tokens, and syncs, with explicit safety guidance requiring user confirmation. - Documents first-time setup and recovery paths for missing CLI installation, authentication failures, expired Doppler connections, missing scopes, and billing-related errors.
