Description
Contentful (contentful.com). Use this skill for ANY Contentful request — reading, creating, and updating data. Whenever a task involves Contentful, use this...
README (SKILL.md)

Contentful

Operate Contentful through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the contentful connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Productivity, Developer Tools. Exposes 8 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Contentful. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "contentful" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "contentful" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • create_entry — Create a Contentful entry in a specific environment.
  • get_current_user — Get the authenticated Contentful user profile for the current personal access token.
  • get_entry — Get a single Contentful entry by identifier.
  • list_content_types — List Contentful content types available in a specific environment.
  • list_entries — List Contentful entries with common filtering, pagination, and include options.
  • list_environments — List Contentful environments inside a specific space.
  • list_spaces — List Contentful spaces accessible to the current personal access token.
  • update_entry — Update a Contentful entry using optimistic locking.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Contentful state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Contentful is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=contentful

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install only if you want an agent to access your Contentful account through OOMOL. Review Contentful scopes and OOMOL connection trust, and require explicit confirmation before any create or update action because those commands can change live CMS content.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The skill's purpose is clear: operate Contentful via the OOMOL oo connector, including discovery, reads, creates, and updates. The credential-backed write capability is high impact, but it is disclosed and aligned with the stated purpose.
Instruction Scope
Instructions are broad for Contentful tasks and allow Bash(oo *), but the documented commands are limited to oo connector schema/run and setup only after auth or connection failures. Create and update actions explicitly require user confirmation of payload and effect.
Install Mechanism
First-time setup may install the oo CLI via OOMOL's install script and perform oo auth login or Contentful connection setup only when needed. This is disclosed and not automatic on every use.
Credentials
The skill sends action payloads through OOMOL to Contentful and relies on server-side credential injection. That external data flow is expected for this connector but users should understand OOMOL mediates access.
Persistence & Privilege
No background worker, persistence mechanism, privilege escalation, destructive delete action, broad local file indexing, or hidden credential harvesting was found in the artifact files.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-contentful
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-contentful
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Connects agents to Contentful through the OOMOL `contentful` connector, with credentials injected server-side instead of handled directly. - Provides discovery actions for accessible spaces, environments, content types, entries, and the current authenticated user. - Supports reading individual entries and listing entries with common filtering, pagination, and include options. - Adds write workflows for creating entries and updating entries with optimistic locking. - Documents a schema-first execution flow using `oo connector schema` before `oo connector run`, plus safety guidance for confirming state-changing payloads.
