Usage Guidance
Prefer offline conversation mode until export safeguards are corrected. Do not run the bundled exporter tests against an installation containing reports; back those reports up first. Enforce the exports-only boundary through host permissions, approve any storage or external sending explicitly, and independently compare insurance-company recommendations.

test_report_exporter.py recursively deletes the actual exports directory before, during, and after testing. The exporter resolves paths before checking for symlinks; a read-only probe confirmed it accepts a symlink despite its rejection promise.
