Beeminder

Operate Beeminder through your OOMOL-connected account. This skill calls the beeminder connector with the oo CLI; OOMOL injects credentials server-side, so you never handle raw tokens.

Category: Productivity, Finance. Exposes 8 action(s).

Running an action

Assume the user has already installed the oo CLI, signed in, and connected Beeminder. Do not run oo auth login or open the connection URL proactively — just run the action. Fall back to First-time setup only when a command actually fails with an auth or connection error.

1. Inspect the contract to get the authoritative input/output schema before building a payload:

oo connector schema "beeminder" --action "\x3Caction_name>"

2. Run the action with a JSON payload that matches the input schema:

oo connector run "beeminder" --action "\x3Caction_name>" --data '\x3Cjson>' --json
  • --data takes a JSON object string or @path/to/file.json; omit it to send {}.
  • The response is { "data": ..., "meta": { "executionId": "..." } }; the execution id lives under meta.executionId.

Each action below links to a reference file with its purpose and exact commands. Read the linked file, then fetch the live schema with oo connector schema before constructing --data.

Available actions

  • create_datapoint — Create one datapoint on a Beeminder goal.
  • delete_datapoint — Delete one Beeminder datapoint by ID.
  • get_goal — Read one Beeminder goal, optionally including its datapoints.
  • get_user — Get Beeminder user information, including goals and optional diff-based goal details.
  • list_archived_goals — List archived Beeminder goals for a user.
  • list_datapoints — List datapoints for one Beeminder goal with optional count or page parameters.
  • list_goals — List active Beeminder goals for a user.
  • update_datapoint — Update one Beeminder datapoint by ID.

Safety

  • Read actions (get / list / search) are safe to run directly.
  • Create, update, send, or post actions change Beeminder state — confirm the exact payload and effect with the user before running.
  • Delete or remove actions are destructive — always confirm the target and get explicit approval first.

First-time setup

These are one-time steps — do not repeat them on every call. Run a step only when a command fails for the matching reason.

  • oo: command not found — install the oo CLI (other platforms: \x3Chttps://cli.oomol.com/install-guide.md>):

    curl -fsSL https://cli.oomol.com/install.sh | bash # macOS / Linux

    irm https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 | iex # Windows PowerShell

  • Not signed in / authentication error — sign in to your OOMOL account once:

    oo auth login

  • scope_missing / credential_expired / app_not_ready / app_not_found — Beeminder is not connected, or the connection expired or lacks a scope. Connect once (auth type: API key) at:

    https://console.oomol.com/app-connections?provider=beeminder

  • HTTP 402 / OOMOL_INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT — billing stop. Recharge at https://console.oomol.com/billing/token-recharge before retrying.

Usage Guidance
Install this only if you intend to let Codex operate your Beeminder account through OOMOL. Read/list actions are low risk, but create, update, and delete actions can affect goal datapoints, so review the exact target and payload before approving them.

Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The stated purpose is Beeminder account operation, and the files only describe Beeminder user, goal, and datapoint read/create/update/delete actions through the oo CLI connector.
Instruction Scope
The instructions require live schema inspection before calls and require user confirmation for write actions plus explicit approval for delete actions.
Install Mechanism
The skill includes a curl-to-shell or PowerShell installer for the oo CLI, but only as first-time setup after a missing-tool failure; the artifact itself contains markdown only and no executable scripts.
Credentials
Networked CLI use and OOMOL-managed Beeminder credentials are proportionate to the integration, and the skill says raw tokens are not handled by the agent.
Persistence & Privilege
A connected OOMOL/Beeminder account is persistent and can modify or delete Beeminder datapoints, but this authority is disclosed and scoped to Beeminder actions.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install oo-beeminder
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /oo-beeminder
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
Version History
v1.0.0
- Operates Beeminder through an OOMOL-connected account using the `beeminder` connector and `oo` CLI, without exposing raw API tokens. - Provides read access to Beeminder users, active goals, archived goals, individual goals, and goal datapoints. - Supports datapoint management with actions to create, update, list, and delete datapoints for Beeminder goals. - Requires live connector schema inspection before action execution so payloads match the current upstream contract. - Includes safety guidance for state-changing and destructive operations, requiring confirmation before writes or deletes.
