Description
Design system and implementation playbook for minimalist Notion x OpenAI style UI/UX. Use when designing dashboards, chat interfaces, agent control panels, d...
README (SKILL.md)

Minimalist Notion × OpenAI UI

Build crisp, low-noise product UI with strong hierarchy and operator-grade usability.

Core Principles

  1. Prioritize clarity over decoration.
  2. Keep layout breathable but dense enough for serious work.
  3. Use typography, spacing, and contrast as the primary hierarchy tools.
  4. Avoid visual noise (heavy shadows, flashy gradients, random color accents).
  5. Every element must justify its presence.

Workflow

  1. Define screen intent in one sentence.
  2. Choose one primary user action.
  3. Build skeleton with spacing + typography first (no color dependency).
  4. Add semantic color only for state/meaning.
  5. Run the checklist in references/qa-checklist.md.

Mandatory Style Constraints

  • Max 1 accent color per screen.
  • Border radius: 8–12px (consistent scale).
  • Shadows: subtle only; no layered “dribbble” effects.
  • Animation: 120–180ms, ease-out, functional only.
  • Empty states must suggest a next action.
  • Error states must include fix guidance.

Use These References

  • Token system: references/design-tokens.md
  • Layout and spacing logic: references/layout-patterns.md
  • Components and behavior: references/component-specs.md
  • Acceptance gate: references/qa-checklist.md

Output Contract (when generating UI specs/code)

Always produce:

  • Intent: what this screen optimizes for
  • Structure: zones/regions and hierarchy
  • Tokens used: type scale, spacing, colors
  • Interaction states: hover/focus/disabled/loading/error
  • Accessibility: keyboard + contrast notes
  • Implementation notes: concrete Tailwind/CSS/React guidance

Keep output implementation-ready and concise.

Usage Guidance
This skill appears to be a self-contained design playbook and is low-risk: it asks for nothing sensitive and contains only design guidance and templates. Before installing, consider: (1) source and license — the skill has no homepage or author info, so verify you trust the author and the license for reuse; (2) review any code/CSS the skill generates before using it in production (it may produce implementation-ready snippets that should be audited for correctness and security); and (3) if you plan to have the agent run this autonomously, ensure you trust it to create UI specs without exposing any private project data—explicitly avoid giving the agent proprietary tokens or internal assets unless necessary. Overall, safe to use but exercise normal caution around provenance and review of generated code.
Capability Analysis
Type: OpenClaw Skill Name: minimalist-ui Version: 0.1.0 The skill bundle consists entirely of documentation files (`.md`) and a metadata file (`_meta.json`). The `SKILL.md` and associated reference files provide instructions and guidelines for an AI agent to design user interfaces based on specific principles and patterns. There is no executable code, no instructions for the agent to perform system-level operations, access sensitive data, make network calls, or engage in any form of prompt injection aimed at subverting its core purpose or causing harm. The content is purely descriptive and instructional for a UI/UX design task.
Capability Assessment
Purpose & Capability
The name/description are design-focused and all required artifacts (tokens, layout patterns, component specs, QA checklist) match that purpose. No unrelated credentials, binaries, or platform access are requested.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md defines design principles, a workflow, mandatory style constraints, and an output contract for producing implementation-ready UI specs/code. It only references the included docs and does not instruct the agent to read system files, call external endpoints, or exfiltrate data.
Install Mechanism
No install spec or code files are present; this is instruction-only. Nothing will be written to disk or downloaded by an installer as part of the skill itself.
Credentials
No environment variables, credentials, or config paths are required. The declarations are proportional to a documentation/design playbook.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not always-enabled and uses default invocation settings. It does not request elevated persistence or modify other skills' configuration.
How to Use
  1. Make sure OpenClaw is installed (local or Docker)
  2. Run the install command in chat: /install minimalist-ui
  3. After installation, invoke the skill by name or use /minimalist-ui
  4. Provide required inputs per the skill's parameter spec and get structured output
